Forget DIY kits: we’ll install a new underground pet containment system for you and help train your dog. Our goal is your satisfaction and your pet’s safety. We’re there when you need support, and will use our expertise to ensure your system is not only set up properly but no stronger or weaker than your dog needs to stay contained.
Our exclusive technology includes a reminder zone within 3–6 feet of the boundary. When dogs enter this secondary zone, they are sent an audible reminder to turn around.
When you choose Dog Guard®, we provide a complete pet containment system that includes professional installation, training, and year-round support.
Our American designed and assembled system includes receivers. With 4 different sizes and 32 correction levels, our system is flexible enough to contain a variety of dog breeds. Our transmitter is also powerful enough to enclose up to 50 acres of property.
If your underground fence is damaged, give us a call, even if it isn’t a Dog Guard® system.
We’re here to help, any time. We’ll support you the whole way, whether you’re having issues with your fence, need more help training your dog, need to order a replacement product, or simply have questions you’d like answered.

Ray lived out in the country with his two labs on a large property near Wisconsin Rapids. He was concerned about his labs getting hit on the busy round in front of his house and was unable to chase after them. Dog Guard® installed the fence, helped train the dogs, and returned to readjust the fence to account for the second dog’s stronger prey drive. Now, the underground dog fence creates a firm barrier between Ray’s dogs and danger.
"
Dave at Dog Guard® was very helpful in designing the perfect fence for our labs. They did a super job on the install and training. I have recommended Dog Guard® to a number of friends."

Deb lived on a cranberry bog she owned with her husband and three dogs. She needed a fence to protect her dogs from the trucks that drove around her property every day, so she decided to call Dog Guard®. We installed a fence and the dogs quickly learned to stay within the fence’s boundaries during training. Now, her children own Dog Guard® underground dog fences, too, and so do the owners of another cranberry bog down the road.
"
This fence makes life so much easier. I’d recommend them to anyone!”

Our system has been thoroughly tested and our combination of training and electronics is veterinarian approved. The correction is similar to a shock from a doorknob, and is harmless.
We adjust the level of the correction according to your dog’s size, personality, and breed in order to provide just enough of an unpleasant stimulation that they learn to avoid crossing the boundary. Most pets only receive two or three corrections.
After training on the system is complete, take the receiver collar off your pet and they will be able to cross the boundary without receiving a correction.
Call your local dealer if the yellow light on your transmitter is illuminated. This means a power surge or lightning strike might have damaged your system. If only the red and green lights on the transmitter are illuminated, however, all is functional.
No, but we have 1-3 year battery plans you can purchase so you never run out of energy. Give u a call at 920-382-4123 to learn more.
Dog Guard® is a full-service solution, including equipment, installation, training, a 30-day money back guarantee, and limited lifetime warranty on your equipment.
This way, you don’t have to figure everything out yourself—unlike a DIY fence kit from a retail store—and if something goes wrong, you have someone nearby to ask for help.
Plus, we think our fence is higher quality and more flexible. It has 32 correction levels, multiple receiver sizes for different dog temperaments and sizes, a signal that doesn’t correct your dog in areas with stray signals, and underground rated wire especially designed to be buried.
The Dog Guard® system has been containing dogs since 1988, so you can be pretty certain our system works. At the same time, every dog is different. Some are easier than others to train.
Sometimes, a dog cannot be trained, and an underground dog fence might not be the right solution for you. This is why we have a 30-day money back guarantee.
One of our clients has 28 dogs on the same system. You can have nearly as many as you want within 50 acres of land—the maximum reach of our signal.
A battery backup is available for purchase in case your power goes out. It will last you for hours until it comes back on.
The exact cost depends on the number of dogs on your system and the size of the area your fence will cover. We offer free estimates so you can see the exact cost for yourself.
In general, though, our systems cost significantly less than traditional fencing, without the middleman costs, and with fewer maintenance costs.
